That’s why at senne products, we’re not just working on Sundays, but from Monday through Friday on concrete measures—from material selection to our energy supply to recycling. Because at senne products, we do everything we can every day to ensure that sustainability is not just a Sunday rhetoric, but active action from Monday to Friday. The result is a multitude of large and small measures with which we really make a difference in our industry.
Not everything that glitters is made from petroleum. We’ve been working on a foil made from renewable raw materials for quite some time. Today, we manufacture our Green PE sleeves ourselves using bio-based polyethylene from Braskem, which is derived from sugarcane. The bio-based carbon content of the foil is at least 95%, as determined by ASTM D6866. We are constantly evaluating which other products this material is suitable for.
We’ve been using green electricity since 2019—ever since we were still called Senne Plastik. That’s because, for us, the word “responsibility” comes much earlier in the alphabet than it should.
In addition, we provide electric company cars and bicycle leasing for our team.
Recycling closes the loop: We collect film scraps from our production by type and send them to recycling facilities. And you can help: We accept returns of used senne products and ensure they are recycled properly.
